10 Months, 4 days, 5 hours and 18 minutes to be exact . . . .

In answer to Melissa's question in the comments section of the post below.
Yes, this is how long we have been waiting for a court date. (Based on the time we were leaving the orphanage at 3:30 p.m. on March 8, 2006.) 10 months, 4 days, 5 hours and 18 minutes . . . . tick - tick - tick
I've read your blog only the last month roughly. So I"m not entirely up to speed. But I love your blog & I you've been on my mind so much lately.
You're story has really hit home with me as we waited almost 8 months for court last year with a Russian adoption. The most difficult task of our marriage. Tries you to the core.
I hear you are with an excellent agency. So you are blessed and fortunate. I'm really pulling for you. We were not so lucky. We have to start over as our agency is corrupt (we found out after we went to Russia), and our prayers are forever with our little girl in Russia.
However, this experience has left me a new and improved person for walking this walk. I'll never be the same person again, and I look at every experience with a new slant. I have much more compassion for all the folks with waiting children in Russia ;o) So you are in my heart & prayers.
As for us we will be OK. We've reframed our plans and are moving on to new pastures.
I'm really rooting for you and will keep checking in on your lovely family.
Wow, I knew it had been a long time - it just didn't hit me that you are nearing a YEAR. I really hope & pray that your wait will be over SOON, and you will have your baby V in your arms, safe & sound!
