Just wanted to comment to the post below. I adopted a son from russia in 2001. He was older though, 11 at the time, and 6 yrs later, the residual orphanage effects are still there. They seem to come and go. Stress causes a lot of regression with him, and I have seen it over time.
Just thought I'd also share that one night about a year after the adoption, I heard some noise. I got up to find my son in the bathroom with a big pair of pliers in his mouth attempting to yank out a tooth! I will never forget that one!
