Barring a miracle, we will not be going back to Russia until accreditation has been reinstated. The earliest this could possibly occur is September, and that is if everything falls perfectly into place. Although most regions allowed that families who had made their first trip before accreditation lapsed would be able to complete their adoptions, our region is not allowing for this scenario. No accreditation - no court date. Like I said, barring a miracle.

I believe in miracles.

Can I give you a Bible verse?

Romans 8: 22-25 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

I'm hoping for a miracle for you...and hoping you don't have to wait patiently for long.

If there's any place for a miracle, it's the adoption world. We had several of them. I'll be praying for your miracle to happen. I am hurting for your sad news. Hang in there and keep believing!!

That's disappointing. But I believe in miracles too.

That really stinks. I'm hoping to get my travel invitation for trip 1 ANY DAY NOW, which would allow me to finish my adoption for my region, without waiting for reaccreditation. But... I've been waiting for 7 weeks, and the average in my region is TWO weeks from referral to travel. Who knows?!

But did you read on FRUA that one agency got their NGO approval? Hopefully that is the rainbow for all of us.

I am so sorry to hear that news! Is there a chance that you can change your country or do you have your heart set or a referral? I will pray for you...and a miracle!
